The United States Poker Championship (USPC) was a major annual stop on the poker tournament tour. This event was held at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The series started in 1996, took one year off in 1997, and ran every year from 1998–2010. This series of poker tournaments culminated with a $10,000 no-limit Texas hold 'em championship tournament televised by ESPN and commentated by Lon McEachern and Norman Chad.[1] The last time this tournament series was run was 2010.[2]

* The final table of the 2007 tournament had only eight players, as Smith was eliminated with another player on the same hand. Smith had more chips at the time of the hand and therefore the higher finish.

Casino Arizona is hosting the state's biggest and most prestigious poker tournament this weekend with the 6th Annual Arizona State Poker Championship. Representing The Pub Poker Arizona, Caryn Bustos of Arizona was the 2017 National Champion. The Bar Poker Open is the ultimate easy-access poker tournament. Arizona State Poker Championship, Casino Arizona Aug. 13-16 While reading through Chainsaw's thread about the 'dealer's bonus', I took a look at the Casino Arizona website, which has a $1,000 + 50 tournament with three day 1's with a 300-player cap. Rellie Sigua, 38, took home $265,706; a $30,000 Rolex watch and was crowned the 2017 Arizona State Poker Champion with a pair of kings, jack high. Second place and third place finishers, Dylan. The Arizona State Poker Championship tournament started the semifinal tables on Saturday at 9AM. It started with 450 players and continued until there were only 20 left for the final two tables.
